Ericka O’Rourke is an artist, photographer and designer. After receiving a BFA in Visual Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, she began working as a book designer for Bantam Doubleday Dell Books for Young Readers. In the mid 90’s, Ericka began to combine her art and photography in the digital realm. Specializing in digital photo editing and image creation as well as book cover and interior design, she has worked on over 400 covers over the last 20+ plus years. She has worked as an art educator in ceramics, digital graphics, painting, and jewelry design. She currently works from her home-based studio and on-site as a freelancer for Penguin Random House Publishing in New York City.
