Ericka O’Rourke is an award-winning New Jersey / Maine-based artist, photographer and designer. After earning a BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, Ericka began her career as a designer for Bantam Doubleday Dell in New York City. In addition to her design work, she began combining her personal art and photography digitally. Specializing in digital photo illustration, she has worked on over 400 covers over the last 20+ plus years.
Ericka’s fine art is inspired by her love of nature and conservation. When she is not in her studio she enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, aromatherapy, yoga, and exploring the Maine coast.
Ericka has worked as an art educator in ceramics, digital graphics, and painting. She currently divides her time between NJ and Maine and works as an on-site freelance designer for Penguin Random House Publishing in New York City.
